The company was founded in 1987 under the name of PT Ricky Putra Garmindo based on Notarial Deed of Sinta Susikto, S.H., No. 166 dated December 22, 1987 as the company that continued the Genefo and Ganefo II individual businesses.
BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
In line with the progress of the Company, in 1996 it changed its name to PT Ricky Putra Globalindo based on Notarial Deed of Raharti Sudjardjati, S.H., No. 97 dated June 26, 1996 to clarify the purpose and objective as well as business activities.
In 1997, the Company changed its status to a public company after listing its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange and changed its name to PT Ricky Putra Globalindo Tbk based on Notarial Deed of Raharti Sudjardjati, S.H., No. 99 dated July 10, 1997.
The Company is domiciled in Citeureup- Bogor, West Java with factory locations in Citeureup-Bogor and Cicalengka-Bandung. Meanwhile, the Company`s representative office is located at Jl. Sawah Lio II No. 29- 37, West Jakarta. The Company began commercial operations in 1988 and its products are marketed both at home and abroad.
Business Fields of the Company
The Company has 5 business fields, namely:
1. Apparel that can be grouped into 3 main products, namely:
a. Men`s underwear products consisting of 7 main product segments to serve the domestic market with the brands of Ricky, GT Man, GT Ladies, Ricsony, GT Man Kid, GT Kid and GTman Sport. Each product is divided into several types that are distinguished by model, color, type of raw material and packaging.
b. Apparel products consisting of internationally licensed clothing and own brands. To reach wider market development, control a wider area in department stores and support production capacity, the Company produces internationally licensed clothing including Transformers, Pokemon, Barbie and Despicable Me. The variety of clothes depends on the trend because of its fashion style with the segmentation of children, adolescents and adults, both women and men.
c. Underwear and apparel products that are specifically ordered for buyers of both foreign and domestic markets such as nightgowns, women`s underwear, t-shirts and polo shirts with the segmentation of children, adolescents and adults both women and men.
2. Knitting yarns consisting of cotton and TC knitting yarns with variations in various sizes.
3. Knit fabric products, under the banner of PT Ricky Tekstil Indonesia in collaboration with third parties for dyeing knit fabrics (raw materials).
4. The apparel production sector that is specifically for export under the companies of PT Ricky Garment Exportindo and PT RT Mahkota Globalindo.
5. Restaurant business sector under the auspices of PT Ricky Citra Rasa.
